Your offer is worked out by code running in your browser tab, on your device.
Your CTC, offer letter and results are not saved on our servers.
Candidates don’t sign up or log in. There is no account to link your offer to.
Recruiters sign in to the portal, and roles decide what each person can see and do.
Whether you type your CTC or add your offer letter, the work happens on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
How we approach the parts of CTCtruth that do hold data.
The recruiter portal needs a sign-in, and roles limit who in a team can view or change offers.
We keep only what a feature needs to work. For candidate analysis, that is nothing.
We aim to give each person only the access their role needs, and to keep the portal’s software current.
This page says plainly what we store and what we don’t. If that changes, we’ll update it here.
Candidates and recruiters use CTCtruth differently, so their data is handled differently.
Analysis not stored
Stored in your portal
No. When you analyse an offer on CTCtruth, the file and the figures stay in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. The one exception: if a recruiter sent you the offer through the CTCtruth recruiter portal, that offer is stored in their portal.
No. Your analysis stays on your device, so we have no copy to show anyone. If your employer sent the offer through the recruiter portal, they can see activity on that offer, such as when it was opened and any questions you send them.
Email contact@ctctruth.com with what you found and how to reproduce it. Please give us a chance to fix it before you share it publicly.
Read why we built CTCtruth, or try the analyser and see that your offer never leaves your device.
